FTI Delta’s Public Sector Practice Marks Milestone with Rapid Expansion
FTI Delta is investing heavily in building out its Public Sector practice in the Middle East. With a focus on serving government entities in their most critical transformations, the team has over the past 12 months expanded from a leadership core to a network of over 100 employees.
In 2023 and the early parts of 2024, FTI Delta, the strategy consulting practice of FTI Consulting, has seen its Public Sector team undergo a remarkable evolution, bringing on board partners, seniors and consultants with a deep understanding of the sector and the region.
Senior team members hired from consulting peers and public sector organizations have played a driving role in socio-economic transformations, contributing to national visions drafting and the development of sectoral and regional strategies across all levels of government and state-owned enterprises.
Reflecting on the journey of the practice, Antoine Nasr, Head of the Public Sector practice, remarked, “Our growth has been fueled by the depth and breadth of the team’s experience, our long-standing client relationships, and our commitment to understanding and addressing the unique and evolving challenges faced by regional governments.”
FTI Delta’s platform specialization strategy plays a key role in providing its clients with tailored and high-impact support. Platforms in the region include Tourism and Culture, Cities, Infrastructure and Real estate, Public Finance and Investments, Environment & Sustainability, Social Development, and Innovation.
Meanwhile, the Public Sector team can tap the firm’s extensive and synergistic network to integrate a wide range of services tailored to government needs. Leveraging expertise from within the broader FTI Consulting’s segments (such as Economic Consulting, Corporate Finance & Restructuring, and Strategic Communications), the team can offer a comprehensive suite of solutions tailored to the multifaceted challenges encountered by public sector entities.
That also applies to FTI Consulting’s global network – with of 7,900 employees and offices in 30+ countries, FTI Consulting is one of the leading global consultancies.
With regional governments increasingly driving transformations that have not been seen elsewhere for decades, Nasr emphasized the pivotal role regional governments play in global advancements. “Today, regional governments have become agents of changes leading some of the top global advancement, with the need to cater to their young large population, developing the workforce of the future, directing investment in strategic sectors, and implementing effective policies.”
For FTI Delta’s regional public sector team, that means that colleagues from around the world are increasingly reaching out for guidance, and the sharing of best practices.
“As our Public Sector practice celebrates its 1-year milestone, we reflect on a journey that serves as a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to driving positive change in the Middle East and beyond,” Nasr concluded.
