Mr. Sebert is expert in the transformation or turnaround of underperforming media and entertainment businesses. He has experience in executing growth-with-profitability strategies, operationalizing new business models and improving performance through operating model redesign, as well as implementation and cost reduction. Mr. Sebert has served as expert advisor and team lead in M&A activities, including due diligence, value creation thesis, take-control and post-deal value realization and implementation.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Sebert led the media and entertainment practice for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (‘EMEA’) region at Alvarez & Marsal. Previously, he spent time at TF1 Group, Arquiva and Wasserman Group.
Relevant Experience:
Oversaw the financial and operational turnaround of a leading media group in the movies, episodic and advertising production sector
Oversaw the detailed design and implementation plan of the target operating model and synergies identification for a global e-sports and gaming company, on the back of multiple mergers
Oversaw the transformation of the content division’s operating model of a leading pay TV operator, in the context of its transition to digital
Oversaw the post-merger integration of two global live media production services and distribution companies
Led launch set up in Asia of a direct-to-consumer (‘D2C’) over-the-top subscription business for a global top five sports rights owner
